Exterior Finish: Triple-layer premium-quality nonstick. Handles: Dual Riveted Silicone with Stainless Steel. Interior Surface: Triple-layer premium-quality TOTAL Food Release System. Why have my silicone handles become'sticky'? Sticky film build up on silicone or rubberized handles can occur when grease or oils are allowed to be absorbed into the handle surface.

This can leave a sticky residue feeling to the touch, even after regular washing. We reccomend the following tips to help remove the residue. Mix cutting liquid dish soap and water and wash the handle thoroughly. After the handle is dry, use rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth to wipe the handle. If the sticky surface remains, mix some baking soda with water to create a thick paste that is about the consistency of toothpaste. Rub the paste over the surface with a cloth, then rinse clean. Why is my nonstick pan sticking? Nonstick coating can stop releasing food and begin sticking for the following reasons. Use of high heat - High heat is not recommended for our non-stick products as this can cause sticking. Our product conducts heat well at lower temperatures so we recommend using low to medium heat to preserve your non-stick coating. Find out the difference between overheating vs. Use of aerosol cooking sprays - Cooking spray burns at lower temperatures and can burn into the non-stick coating causing build up of the spray.

This will cause sticking and damage to the non-stick coating and sometimes give the product a "rusty" appearance. We suggest using olive oil, peanut oil, coconut oil, butter and margarine for flavor. Pans should be cleaned with warm soapy water after every use so food residue is not allowed to build up, which will, after time, cause sticking and damage to the non-stick coating.

How do I clean my nonstick pan? Washing nonstick cookware by hand helps pans to last much longer. Use a mild dish washing detergent, warm water and a soft nylon brush or nylon scrub pad. This will remove food and grease particles that may burn when your pan is reheated. If food remains on the nonstick surface, boil a mixture of two parts water and one part vinegar in your pan on medium heat for 5-10 minutes to dislodge food particles. Let stand until cooled, then wash with warm, soapy water and a soft nylon brush. Although you might have dishwasher-safe cookware, keep in mind that extremely hot water and harsh detergents will cause cookware coatings (including nonstick) to deteriorate faster than if you were washing by hand. Degreasers can be used to clean oil residue from nonstick products.

The following brands we've tested work great! Simple Green, LA's Totally Awesome Orange All Purpose Degreasers, Oil Eater and Easy Off. Please be sure to wash and rinse properly before using your nonstick product. Why has my stainless steel cookware discolored? Overheating or allowing cookware to boil dry can cause yellow, brown, dark purple, blue or rainbow tints on the stainless steel surface.

Although harmless, these tints can spoil the appearance of the pan. To remove this discoloration, use a products like Barkeepers Friend® and a non abrasive cleaning pad. Wash with warm soapy water, rinse and dry. Please note that allowing a pan to boil dry can cause serious damage to your product and cooking surface, property damage and/or personal injury.

Never leave a pan unattended and never allow a pan to boil dry. The item "Circulon 13-Piece Hard-Anodized Nonstick Cookware Set" is in sale since Monday, April 20, 2020. This item is in the category "Home & Garden\Kitchen, Dining & Bar\Cookware\Pan Sets".
