Bang & Olufsen B&O BeoLab 4000 Active Speakers in SILVER Anodized Aluminum and Grills. Bang & Olufsen manufactured the BeoLab 4000 Mk1 from 1997 through 2007. BeoLab 4000 turns flexibility into an art form.

The result is a compact loudspeaker that can sit on a shelf, bookcase, or hang, at almost any angle, from the wall or ceiling. The BeoLab 4000 is one of the most aesthetically beautiful and iconic speakers Bang & Olufsen ever designed.

This beautiful example is in. Silver finish with matching silver fabric grills. Specifications listed at the end of this section. This matched serial number pair of BeoLab 4000 Mk1 TYPE 6638 is in excellent used working condition.

Very nice aesthetics and superb acoustics. The anodized aluminum silver finish does have some very minor markings from age/use, mainly on the top panel of one unit, the other top panel is like new. A couple very minor corner/edge bumps. Nothing serious, no deep scratches, and slight enough to be difficult to show in photos.

The silver fabric grills are in like-new condition, no imperfections. Each speaker has 4 pads on the bottom panel for protection from surface scratches. As shown in the photos, the original dark grey dampening foam has been completely removed and all traces of foam rot has been meticulously cleaned. New white dampening foam sets have been installed. Virtually all Mk1 BL4000s will eventually suffer rotted out transistor boards.

And death unless the original rotting, sticky grey foam is removed before transistor board rot sets in. The new white foam is a different material and will not rot. Both speakers have been tested before packing and everything is performing beautifully. Original B&O box will be packed inside a second outer cardboard box for maximum protection. Original unused wall hanging (speaker and wall) brackets in unopened B&O bags.

New unused 7-foot power cords (correct polarized versions for BL4000). Original B&O speaker protective wrapping sheets. Custom outer protective cardboard box. No PowerLink cables will be included since there are so many different variations of connections possible; DIN DIN, DIN RJ45, RCA line input via Bluetooth, and then color and length of cables on top of that. All these options are easily available online for whatever your system/décor requires.
